It's been another view weeks of silence, partially due to the them flu virus. Next project will be helping a stage design based on contemporary museum space look, contemporary with projection art (ish).

The past weekend was Koki and my Seoul debut as artists. A re-imagined versions of our work produced for Synetic's production of "Picture of Dorian Gray" was used as part of performance installation in a unique gallery space, Foam located in the capital of South Korea. Directed and curated by a long time friend InYoung Yeo, our work got an amazing reception from the viewers.
A video archive was done and will be done by tomorrow. I'm looking forward to how it all came together!
Synetic Theater's production of Picture of Dorian Gray is opened!
First drafts of what could possibly go on to the panels have been shared last week with the production team. I've gone through the script with the director and dramaturge since, artistically figuring out the script, and all the information is currently stewing in my head. We haven't had the chance to test the panel materials and I'm yet to come up with the final designs. The amazing thing is that it'll all come together at the end, no matter how little time we might seem to have. That is the power of the professionals, I assume. : )
I finally got to see The Tempest without needing to do a least 3 things at a time today. I have to say (not just because I designed for it) it is if anything, a beautiful show. If you are anywhere near DC, I hope you get to see this incredible show. Only two more weeks left!
